Smart Citys contract with the San Antonios Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center has been approved for five more years. Effective July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2013, Smart City will continue to be HBGCCs exclusive provider of telecommunications voice and data services.

In addition to full service telephone services, Smart City Networks offers high-speed Internet access using Ethernet protocols to all exhibit spaces and meeting rooms. Network service professionals offer turnkey data networking services including Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs) and Private Networks using the latest technology. Smart City also provides an entry-level wireless service ideal for web surfing and checking email which can be accessed throughout the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center by using a WiFi compatible network card. The wireless network provides Internet access of up to 256k of bandwidth, servicing exhibitors as well as attendees.
