Smart City has promoted Nick Flores from senior events coordinator to operations manager for the George R. Brown Convention Center (GRBCC) in Houston.
Jim Snook, general manager for Smart City said, “Nick's exceptional customer service and administration skills play a pivotal role in helping Smart City accomplish our objectives. Even though he has been recognized by countless customers for his individual performance, he is always quick to point out that he is a member of a strong team. This is the third promotion Nick has received since he began with Smart City in 2002.”
As operations manager, Flores is responsible for day-to-day management of the technical staff and customer sales and service representatives. During events, he ensures that clients at the GRBCC receive an optimum level of service and technical support for any of the data equipment and services provided by Smart City.
